Women for Election In Conversation with Nicolle Flint :: Recording

Women for Election Australia CEO, Licia Heath, recently interviewed Nicolle Flint, MP Federal Member for Boothby. As promised, we recorded the conversation to help inspire your journey into the political arena. Hear about how she got into politics and the issues that she is passionate about.

Nicolle has been outspoken about the sexist, misogynistic and intimidating behaviour she faced during the 2019 election campaign, and recently attracted national and international attention for wearing a garbage bag in response to criticisms about her appearance.

Her strength and resilience are to be admired.

Watch and enjoy…

Nicolle Flint was elected as the Member for Boothby in 2016 and re-elected in 2019. She is the first woman to represent the seat since it was established in 1903.

Nicolle has vowed to keep speaking out to help ensure a safe campaign environment and improve the treatment of all women in politics.
