Women for Election In Conversation with the Hon. Shelley Hancock MP :: Recording

We recently hosted an In Conversation with the Hon. Shelley Hancock MP, Minister for Local Government and Member for South Coast. She spoke about her path into politics, the importance of the different perspectives women bring to decision-making, and the importance of representing your electorate.

In partnership with the NSW Government, we are running 7 FREE workshops to INSPIRE + EQUIP women to run for the September 2021 NSW local government elections. If you want to change things in your local electorate, you have to be at the table where decisions are being made.

Many women support their communities in so many ways, from running school P&C’s, building and expanding local businesses, overseeing local sports competitions and community campaigns to co-ordinate drought and bushfire relief for neighbours and local businesses. These leadership skills are highly transferable to local government, where your skills can help your entire community.

Sign up for one of our regional workshops in one of 7 NSW locations in April and May, or join us for an online workshop starting Tuesday 23 March 2021.

Watch and enjoy…
